The name roughly translates to “keep your hearts high,” and that’s exactly how we feel drinking this 100% Chenin Blanc pet nat from Vouvray. It’s lively and complex, with fresh lime and orange blossom on the nose, flinty minerality and lees-y texture.

Pauline Lair’s wines are stunning representations of the famous sites of the Loire that she vinifies using purchased grapes in her downtown Angers winery. It’s hard to find a more refreshing sparkling than this pet nat made from the Folle Blanche grape of Muscadet. Lighter in alcohol, it’s a perfect picnic spritz!
