Can anyone order wine and sake online?
No. By Canadian law in the province of Ontario, you must be at least 19 years of age to purchase and consume beverage alcohol. We will not process orders from anyone who is not at least 19 years of age.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express. You can also pay online using connected third party software such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shopify Payments and PayPal. If you want to pay by cash or cheque, send us an email (to ontoffice@thatslifegourmet.com) and we will create an invoice for you.
When will I receive my delivery?
In 3-5 days. Once you place your order, we can contact you to arrange a day/time that works best for you.
Do you accept returns on faulty or damaged items?
Yes. If your wine or sake is delivered damaged take a photo and send us an email, and we will happily arrange a replacement bottle (if the item is in stock) or a straight refund to your payment method if you prefer, or a credit to your account.
If you open a wine that is corked, we will also try to arrange a replacement bottle if we have one in stock, or a refund to your payment method, or a credit to your account.
We will pack your order carefully and use proper packaging but if there is some wear and tear on the labels we cannot accept responsibility.
How can I be the first to hear about new releases?
There are many ways to stay in touch! We are always getting new wine and sake in stock, so the best way to be the first to know is to sign up to our newsletter (link below) and follow us on Instagram (here) where we announce releases, events, and other news.
Where can I find out more about your sakes and wines?
What do you want to know?! If you are looking for technical information we can email you more. Our team of pros are also here to tell you more about how best to enjoy these wines and sakes, with food ideas, how to store them, how to serve them, and when to drink them. Where can I find these products in local restaurants?
You are able to drink our wines and sakes in a number of restaurants in Toronto and Ottawa, Niagara and Hamiton, the GTA and places in-between. We work closely with a number of the people that uphold these restaurants and organize their beverage programs with our products in mind. Let us know if you are looking for a specific food experience or drink and we’ll connect you to the places we supply.
